Coastal Residence

Inspired by the homeowners’ love of water, this residence is filled with subtle nautical touches and accents that emphasize the home’s unobstructed Lake Michigan views. Throughout the home, various shades of rich blue hues are used as an accent against shiplap walls. Layered materials—including metal, twine, and rope—are a sophisticated continuation of the nautical theme and add depth to the design. The lower-level of the home has a touch of whimsy with a neon “Rosé All Day” sign and a pool table, dart board, wet bar, and TV room.
