Blending contemporary design with a rustic mountain aesthetic, this home reflects the clients’ love of Colorado, where they have a second property. Andrea Goldman Design worked closely with the architect to balance the elegant, purposeful, and clean architecture of the home with the comfort that the clients craved. AGD arranged the space, including the central open concept living-dining area, to be intimate and intentional for the homeowners, who are empty nesters, but also accommodating of visitors. Fabrics and furnishings were carefully selected to make the home inviting and cozy, playing off of the wood and stone of the architecture in a dark, earthy palette.
While there is a seamless flow between the living room, kitchen, and dining room, each space was designed to feel distinct and intimate.
Echoing the clean lines of the architecture, every space was designed to feel elegant yet purposeful, attuned to the homeowners' lifestyle.
